Laptop Program - Repairs and Maintenance

​Notice for all parents/carers.

The Parent/Guardian or Student must immediately return their laptop to the college if they suspect the hardware (e.g. laptop computer or power pack) or software is or may be faulty.

All college laptops handed into the colleges IT Department for repairs will be allocated a job number and logged into the college IT Department’s System.

Parents will receive a TXT Message to confirm the laptop is ready to be collected once repaired. Students will also be notified by the college PA system during break times to collect their laptops from the IT Department once repaired.

The Student and Parent/Carer must not arrange or allow any repair or maintenance work to be carried out on the laptop without prior written consent of the college.

Should the laptop require repairs or maintenance, a loan computer may be made available while the student’s computer is being repaired.
