As part of the Pimpama State Secondary College Year 10 SET Plan program, all Year 10 students are given the opportunity to attend a Work Experience placement in their chosen area of interest during Week 3 of Term 3 (30 July – 3 August 2018). Participation in the Work Experience program is integral to effective SET Planning. Students will need to find their own Work Experience placement in order to maximise the experience, however, we can assist with a placement if needed. The Work Experience Program will familiarise students with working conditions and employer expectations. In addition, the program offers students the opportunity to sample a specific type of work, and also promotes personal and social development.
