Student leadership at Pimpama State Secondary College has a deep and devoted history of students who have served their school community in many shapes and forms.

Over time this has developed into a thriving culture amongst our student leaders who are committed to seeking to address issues they observe in their schooling experience.

The guiding framework is based upon the theory that to lead others we must first be leaders of ourselves.

This is the work of an authentic leader and requires honesty, curiosity and reflection.

Non School-Based Positions

Northern Collegiate

The Northern Collegiate program promotes collaboration, leadership and communication skills amongst NC schools, uplifting students to contribute in a meaningful way to their wider school communities. Schools involved include; Coombabah SHS, Foxwell State Secondary College, Helensvale SHS, Ormeau Woods SHS, Pacific Pines SHS, Pimpama State Secondary College, and Upper Coomera State College.

Gold Coast Junior City Council

Junior City Council is a civic leadership program for high school students, allowing them to gain experience in local government and community involvement. The City of Gold Coast's Junior Council is a two-year program for Year 10 and 11 students, offering them opportunities to develop leadership skills and learn about local government.
