Laptop Program

All students at Pimpama State Secondary College utilise laptops to personalize and enrich their learning experience. The College provides two options for students to access a laptop.

Laptop Purchase Program

The College offers a Laptop Purchase Program whereby the College purchases a laptop for the student and parents then follow a payment plan over a 2 year period. The laptop is supported by the College and includes a 3 year warranty and accidental damage coverage.

BYOD Laptop Program

The College offers a BYOD option for students who wish to bring their own device to use at school. The device must meet the College BYOD requirements, these requirements can be found in the BYOD section.

The IT department is open for student support during the following times:
  • 8am-8:45am
  • lunch breaks
  • 3pm - 3:15pm

Replacement Chargers

To order a replacement charger, please complete the IT Order Form and submit to the finance department. The college's preferred method of payment is via BPoint located on the invoice emailed to parents.
  • BYOD Laptop Program

    Students who bring their own laptop to use at school are classified as BYOD. The laptop must meet the college requirements, please refer to

    Students wishing to enter the College Laptop Purchase Program will now have the opportunity to select one of two options. The college now offers a laptop for everyday use and a laptop for students specialising in STEM & IT subjects.
