Laptop Program

All students at Pimpama State Secondary College use laptops to personalize and enrich their learning experience.
The college provides two options for students to access a laptop whilst enrolled in our school:​

Laptop Purchase Program

Through the Laptop Purchase Program, a laptop is purchased for the student by the college. Parents/guardians are responsible and liable for following a scheduled payment plan over a 2 year period, making payments until the laptop has been paid for in full.
The Laptop Purchase Program includes a 3 year warranty and insurance policy, vaild whilst the student is enrolled in the college.
 
The Laptop Purchase Program is not a hire or loan agreement, laptops are required to be paid in full should the student leave the college during the Laptop Purchase Program payment schedule.

Please submit the Laptop Purchase Program New Participant form with your student's enrolment application if you would like the college to purchase a laptop for the enrolling student.

Bring Your Own Device

Students who bring their own laptop to use at school are classified as BYOD. The laptop must meet the college requirements, please refer to the Bring Your Own Device Participation Agreement. Devices such as iPads, Android Tablets and Chromebooks do not meet the college laptop requirements.
 
The college provides limited support for BYOD devices and cannot be held accountable for loss or damage to personal devices.
Please Note: The college charges a non-refundable administration fee to cover the costs associated with administrating the BYOD program.

Please submit the BYOD Participant form with your student's enrolment application if they will be using their own device.

The IT department is open for student support during the following times:
  • 8am-8:45am
  • lunch breaks
  • 3pm - 3:15pm

Replacment Chargers

To order a replacement charger, please complete the IT Order Form.pdf​ and submit to the finance department. The college's preferred method of payment is via BPoint located on the invoice emailed to parents.

  • Daymap

    Daymap is the College's learning management system.

  • OneSchool

    OneSchool is the College's school management system which is used by all State Schools across Queensland.

  • QParents

    QParents
