Laptop Program

Learning in the 21st century is an exciting and engaging experience where technology is used to add value to the learning experiences of our students. Our students are the first to be born into a world that has seen full digital technology as a standard, not a luxury. As a school, we need to exploit this connectivity to ensure we deliver learning anywhere, anytime.

All students at Pimpama State Secondary College use laptops to personalize and enrich the learning experience. The College provides two options for students to access a laptop at the College.

College Laptop Program

The College purchases a laptop for the student on the parent's behalf, parents then follow a payment calendar relevant to the student's year level. The laptop is supported by the College and includes a 3 year warranty and accidental insurance coverage whilst enroled at the College. The College offers a number of payment options, please refer to the Payment Methods section for more information.

Please refer to the information below to join the School Purchased Laptop Program.
Please return completed forms to the College Administration.

BYOD Laptop Program

Students bring their own laptop to use (BYOD). The device must meet the College BYOD requirements.

The College provides limited support for BYOD devices and cannot be held accountable for loss or damage to personal devices. Devices such as iPads, Android Tablets and Chromebooks do not meet the College Laptop requirements.

Please Note: The College charges a non-refundable fee to cover the costs associated with administrating the BYOD Program.

Please refer to the information below to join the College BYOD Laptop Program.
