Windows 10 - End of Support

From October 14th 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide software updates, technical assistance or security fixes for Windows 10.

For security and safety reasons, Students will not be able to use BYO Devices running Windows 10 past this date.

Please ensure your device is updated to Windows 11 in preparation for this. If your device does not meet the minimum specifications to run Windows 11, you will need to replace it.

BYOD Information

iPads are the preferred devices for Students in all Year levels within the College.

Students in Years 11 & 12 may elect to use a Laptop in place of an iPad.
Students in Years 7, 8, 9 & 10 are NOT able to use a Laptop.

Please familiarise yourself with the BYOD Participation Agreement before completing a BYOD Form.

The College does NOT support Windows 11 S Mode, Android or ChromeBook Devices

All students will be required to supply a device as standard school equipment through the BYOD program.

Purchasing Options

Families may purchase their chosen device and accessories from any retailer providing it meets the College's BYOD requirements as listed on the BYOD Participation Agreement.

For security and safety reasons, you are required to ensure the device you purchase runs software that is receiving mainstream support. You must also ensure that the device is kept up to date.

Device Warranty and Insurance Information

For Warranty and ADP claims for your device, you will need to contact the seller or manufacturer of the device to arrange a service or repair.

We strongly recommend that all personal devices are insured against accidental damage, loss and theft. You can either:

Include the Device on your Home and Contents Insurance, or
Contact an insurer that offers specific student device cover
