BYOD Information 2024

Students in Years 11 or 12 may use a Windows or MacOS laptop in place of an iPad. Some specialist middle & senior subjects may require a laptop. Please refer to our College curriculum handbooks available on the Middle School & Senior School pages for more information.

Students in Year 7, 8, 9 & 10 are NOT able to use a Laptop in 2024.

Please familiarise yourself with the BYOD Participation Agreement before completing a BYOD Form.

The College does NOT support Windows 10/11 S Mode, Android or ChromeBook Devices

All Year 7, 8, 9 & 10 students will be required to supply an iPad as standard school equipment through the BYOD program. Laptops will not be suitable or supported in these year levels for 2024.

Device Warranty and Insurance Information

For Warranty and ADP claims for your device, you will need to contact the seller or manufacturer of the device to arrange a service or repair.

We strongly recommend that all personal devices are insured against accidental damage, loss and theft. You can either:
  • Include the Device on your Home and Contents Insurance, or
  • Contact an insurer that offers specific student device cover

Support is available via email (it@pimpamassc.eq.edu.au) or in Person in the College's Library during the times below:
  • Before School (from 8:15am)
  • First Break
  • Second Break
  • After School (until 3:15pm)
