Swimming Carnival 2023

The annual Pimpama State Secondary College Inter-house Swimming Carnival will be held on Thursday 16th February at the Pimpama Sports Hub.

All students are invited to attend the event and can choose to take part as a swimmer or cheer on competitors.  Novelty events and house swims will be part of the program so everyone can get in the pool and have some fun.

Activity Details:

EVENT: PSSC Inter-House Swimming Carnival

DATE: 16th February 2023 (Week 4).

VENUE: Pimpama Sports Hub, Pimpama

DEPARTURE: Arrive at school for normal time. The bus will depart at 9am after roll marking.     

RETURN: 3pm

WHAT TO WEAR: House colours/costume to show house spirit!

 

WHAT TO BRING: Lunch (Food will also be available for sale at the pool)

Appropriate swimwear

Students may wear house colours/costumes to school - school appropriate and sunsafe dress code still applies, including closed-in shoes

Sunscreen and Water

Coloured zinc for face only

No body or hair paint and no streamers are to be worn.

 

COST: Nil

 

PAPERWORK: Medical consent forms must be returned to Q block by Friday 10th February to confirm a spot on the bus. Follow the link to complete the online medical form https://survey.qed.qld.gov.au/n/boYhkzD or return the paper medical form to sport staff room. ​

Final bus numbers will be confirmed this day. No late medical consent forms will be accepted. Students who have not handed in their form by the due date will be declined from attending.

 

PLEASE COMPLETE THE CONSENT AND MEDICAL FORM AND RETURN TO Mr. Jordan Flatley in Q Block Staffroom by Friday 11th February.

 

Terms and Conditions

Transportation costs are non-refundable for any activity or excursion conducted by this College.

It is a requirement that only students that are up to date and financial with the College can attend extracurricular activities, whether a fee is charged or not.

The College is unable to offer payment extensions or accept payment after the final due date as organisation of activities are governed by strict schedules. The College Finance Policy is available on the College Website.
